I picked up a camera in 1984 and got serious about photography around 2000. I shoot, film and edit everything myself, so the business I work for deals with one person from the first call to the final file.

Why one person
Most projects pass from a photographer to an editor to someone else, and something gets lost each time. I shoot, film and edit myself, so every frame is captured with the finished piece in mind.
How I got here
My first camera came in 1984. A 2001 trip to Guatemala made photography serious, and courses at MacEwan University filled in the rest. Video came later and now sits beside the stills, so a shoot can deliver both.
The tools
Canon and Sony cameras, Adobe for editing, and the lighting and backups a paid job deserves.
